Volunteers will work side by side with the Forest Service to tackle several projects on the mountain. We will do some rock work to reinforce a steep section of trail, install directional signage, camouflage social trails and more. Afterwards, we will gather at Tantrum Brewing Company for a swag raffle and a cold one! Meet: Mount Yonah Trail Head @ 9 AM EST Bring: Water, sunscreen, snacks Wear: Close-toed shoes, long pants recommended, sun protection Please fill out the SCC waiver prior to the event (seclimbers.org/stewardship). This event is part of our Trail Daze of Summer Series! Time to embrace the sufferfest. Neither sweat, nor poison ivy, nor ticks will keep climbers from getting down and dirty to take care of our beloved climbing areas. What is Trail Daze of Summer? If you come to any 3 trail days all summer at any location you’ll be entered to win even BIGGER prizes at the End of Daze Party to celebrate all our hard trail work at the end of the summer. The End of Daze celebration will be held on August 20th at On The Road And Off Headquarters in Chattanooga.
