Project: We will work on the main climber access points and reduce erosion by installing stone stairs and retaining walls. START: 9am CST/ 10am EST END: wrap up about 3pm CST/ 4pmEST Wear closed toed shoes. Long sleeves and pants are recommended. Bring water, snacks, and extra layers for the elements. Be prepared to be challenged, work hard, and gain karma points! Work includes lifting and carrying up to 50-100 pounds, walking on unstable terrain, and being exposed to the elements (sun, rain, heat, cold, everything in between and beyond.) All volunteers must complete the Access Fund waiver and Code of Conduct prior to volunteering. This is one of the Big Three days for our Trail Daze of Summer Series coordinated with the folks at On the Road and Off.
